School-Based Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Clinic Locations: One school distrist serving multiple schools. (Russell County, Alabama)

Salary: $ $50.00 / Hour (compensation will be based on experience)

Sign-on Bonus: up to $5,000

Job Type: Full-time. (30 to 40 hours per week.) This is a school-year-based (10-month) position.

Responsibilities:

You'll achieve success by:

  • Conduct evaluations, identify areas of concern, and collaborate with IEP teams to support student academic success.
  • Plan and implement effective treatment programs focused on sensorimotor, educational, recreational, and social activities.
  • Provide consultation and education for teachers and staff to enhance fine motor, visual motor, sensory processing, attention, and executive functioning skills in students.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with state regulations and district standards for accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Occupational Therapist Licensure in good standing in both Georgia and Alabama
  • CPR and first aid certification required
