What you'll do
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical systems, mechanical components, and programmable logic controllers.
- Conduct welding tasks as needed to maintain structural integrity and safety standards.
- Interpret schematics to assist in diagnosing problems and implementing effective solutions.
- Oversee facilities maintenance tasks, including residential painting and general upkeep of the premises.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities and inventory management.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from team members.
- Lead and supervise junior technicians, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages skill development.
Basic qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in maintenance roles.
- Proficiency with electrical systems and the use of an ohmmeter for diagnostics.
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with team members and customers.
Preferred qualifications
- Previous experience in manufacturing environments is a plus.
- Proven leadership skills with experience supervising teams or projects.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance best practices.
