As a Mechanical Lead Engineer in Charlotte, NC, you will be part of the proven team in the Steam Generator Replacement Business Line in the Installed Base Business Unit. Your day-to-day will radiate around a best method approach to support large component replacement through an engineered opening in a pre-stressed concrete containment structure. To support large component replacement interconnecting mechanical safety / non-safety systems as well as any interfering mechanical safety / non-safety systems are to be removed, temporarily supported, potentially rerouted, and reinstalled (reconciled) to original design basis qualifications. To achieve this project scope, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of mechanical engineers providing mentorship and guidance on development of engineering changes. This position requires up to 25% travel.
