Sportsman Boats is looking for a fabricator to assist in creating T-tops and leaning posts for Sportsman boats. his is a good opportunity for entry level welders who want to gain experience in this field.

What you will do:

  • Layout, cut, fit, measure and tack weld aluminum pipe
  • Paint weld beads on anodized parts
  • Fit up parts
  • Learn and grow

What you know / have done:

  • Experience in anodized aluminum
  • Fabrication skills
  • Ability to assess metal structures to identify and initiate repair of damaged welds
  • Ability to use small tools, operating air/hand tools, welders, grinders and buffing machines
  • Close tolerance when measuring; strong attention to detail
  • Good time management and organizational skills; ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work as a team member
  • Ability to comply with OSHA, MSDS and safety guidelines
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, ever changing environment
  • High School Diploma or GED required
