Our company is on the lookout for a dynamic and dedicated Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. This exciting role will require you to be the backbone of our IT infrastructure, ensuring our systems are running smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our computer systems and networks, ensuring high levels of system performance and availability. The ideal candidate should have a background in IT, computer systems engineering, or systems engineering and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, and support our company's network and computer systems.
• Maintain network servers such as file servers, VPN gateways, and intrusion detection systems.
• Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, personal digital assistants, smartphones, software deployment, security updates, and patches.
• Oversee the daily performance of computer systems.
• Respond to IT issues; hardware maintenance, software, networking, etc.
• Evaluate and recommend security improvements and system upgrades.
• Monitor network to ensure optimal performance.
• Create and manage user accounts, permissions, email, anti-virus, anti-spam.
• Provide technical support to clients, coworkers, and other team members.
• Create and maintain a disaster recovery plan.
• Perform regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Proven experience with Active Directory, hardware installation, Firewall, Cisco Routers, Exchange, GPOs, server, O365, server 2019.
• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline; professional certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)) is a plus.
• Ability to create scripts in Python, Perl or other language.
• Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
• Knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.
• Exceptional organizing and time-management skills.
• Excellent diagnostic, problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication ability.
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
• In-depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks.
• Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage stress effectively in high-pressure situations.
• Understanding of complex information and requirements.
• Excellent prioritization and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to create and deliver presentations.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and administrative capabilities.
