We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Technician to join our team for morning shifts from 6:00am to 10:00am. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong work ethic and experience in various cleaning and custodial services. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facilities, ensuring a professional environment for staff and visitors alike. Prior janitorial, custodial, or industrial cleaning experience is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn and grow within the company.

Duties

  • Perform thorough cleaning of commercial, residential, or industrial spaces according to established standards
  • Operate floor care equipment such as buffers and polishers to maintain high-quality flooring
  • Conduct routine custodial tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and trash removal
  • Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas
  • Assist with light maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or touch-up painting as needed
  • Follow safety protocols during all cleaning activities to ensure a safe working environment
  • Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and supplies efficiently and responsibly
  • Document completed tasks and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning preferred; experience in floor care, buffing, or industrial cleaning is a plus
  • Knowledge of facilities maintenance and basic repair skills beneficial
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Reliable punctuality and strong work ethic are essential
  • Prior experience in residential painting or porter roles is advantageous but not required
