Position Overview

As a Service Technician, you'll install, maintain, and repair natural gas and propane heating systems and related equipment. You'll work directly with residential and commercial customers, ensuring safe, efficient operation and delivering exceptional service in the field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair heating system malfunctions, including wiring, controls, and fuel systems
  • Perform routine maintenance and system calibrations
  • Install and service domestic hot water systems, boilers, furnaces, space heaters and associated components
  • Complete accurate work orders and documentation using pricing tools
  • Provide customer training on new systems and ensure satisfaction
  • Maintain company vehicles and adhere to all safety protocols

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • State of Maine Propane and Natural Gas Technician License required
  • Strong knowledge of gas burner wiring, circuitry, venting and safety controls
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and work in varied physical conditions

Pay: $60, $80,000.00 per year
