Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Yard Worker to join our team. The Yard Worker will be responsible for organizing, maintaining, and preparing roofing materials and equipment for job sites. This position plays a vital role in keeping our crews efficient and safe. A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required, as occasional deliveries may be required. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

  • Load and unload roofing materials and equipment.
  • Maintain yard organization and cleanliness.
  • Assist with inventory control and restocking.
  • Perform minor maintenance on equipment and tools.
  • Restore and maintain yard equipment and tools, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
  • Utilize hand tools effectively for various construction tasks.
  • Drive company vehicles to deliver materials to job sites.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.

Experience

  • Previous experience construction or roofing preferred.
  • Able to life 50+ lbs regularly.
  • Forklift experience a plus.
  • Valid driver's license; CDL Class A required.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
