Starting Pay Rate: $21.00 hourly

Sunrise Shift 10pm-7am

Keep kitchen equipment and cleaning machines in top-notch condition Perform preventative maintenance and repairs, tackling both minor and major fixes with enthusiasm. Disassemble and clean kitchen equipment and surrounding areas, ensuring everything shines and complies with NFPA 96 and ANSI/IKECA I regulations. What does a Lead kitchen tech do?

  • Troubleshooting and repairing variouscleaning equipment and cleaning machine malfunctions and repair or replace broken components.
  • Unhook gas lines to kitchen equipment stoves, ovens, fryers, etc. Move equipment as necessary so area is accessible to clean thoroughly.
  • Use appropriate kitchen cleaners, thoroughlyclean equipment inside and out, clean surrounding areas; walls, floors, return equipment to its original location, and inspect equipment/gas lines to ensure proper working order.

Work Experience

To be successful as a Lead kitchen tech, you'll need:

  • A High school diploma or equivalent and current NYS drivers' license required.
  • one year offire prevention and kitchen maintenance experience.
  • We will train PECT& OSHA 10 Certifications
  • Understand NFPA 96 and ANSI's standards for the Inspection of Commercial Kitchen Exhaust Systems and ability to run Kaivac and pressure washer on a daily basis.
  • To stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
