Job Overview

We're looking for a reliable CNC Operator to join our small machine manufacturing team. This role involves operating and monitoring CNC machines, performing basic setups, and ensuring parts meet quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable in a hands-on production environment, and able to assist with general daily operations as needed. MUST HAVE experience.

Duties

  • Operate CNC machinery including milling machines, lathes, and stamping presses with precision and adherence to specifications.
  • Program and set up CNC equipment using CAM software and CAD drawings.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications to produce accurate components.
  • Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and troubleshoot issues using mechanical knowledge.
  • Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure parts meet quality standards.
  • Handle materials safely within the manufacturing facility, including materials handling and tooling setup.
  • Conduct quality control inspections throughout the production process to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Assist in fabrication tasks such as welding or assembly line operations as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience operating CNC equipment such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or stamping presses in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in CNC programming, CAM programming, and familiarity with Fanuc controls.
  • Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, GD&T principles, CAD software (SolidWorks preferred), and basic math skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments.
  • Knowledge of fabrication processes including welding and tooling setup is a plus.
  • Ability to operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is preferred.
  • Good understanding of materials handling, packaging, quality control procedures, and safety standards in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills; ability to work independently or as part of a team. Pay: $ $40.00 per hour
