  • Patient Financial Communication: Verify insurance coverage and benefits, calculate patient responsibility, and communicate balances clearly and professionally to patients
  • Accounts Receivable Management: Monitor and manage outstanding A/R, track collection progress, and generate aging reports to support cash-flow visibility and forecasting
  • Revenue Optimization: Identify root causes of billing delays or rejections, propose process improvements, and collaborate with Finance and Clinical Operations to drive accuracy and efficiency
  • Compliance & Documentation: Maintaining thorough documentation to support audits.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams — including Clinical Operations, Partner Success, and Finance — to ensure revenue-cycle alignment with company goals
  • Continuous Process Improvement: Contribute to the refinement of Brook's billing workflows, automation tools, and reporting mechanisms as the business evolves
  • Other Assigned Duties: Support additional revenue-cycle responsibilities as assigned in response to organizational needs or system changes

  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Collaborative, solution-oriented mindset and commitment to continuous improvement

Preferred Experience

  • Emergency Savings Account (ESA): Brook helps employees build financial resilience by supporting contributions to an emergency savings account. Brook matches a portion of employee contributions, helping the fund grow faster. The account is completely flexible — you decide what qualifies as an emergency and how to use the funds.
