The Senior Director, Internal Communications develops and executes executive and employee communications strategies to support Cohesity's mission, objectives, and corporate priorities. The ideal candidate is a trusted and thoughtful partner to executives, and a deft communicator focused on developing and delivering innovative initiatives that drive measurable business outcomes. This role will be highly visible across the entire company and will require a leader who can quickly build a network of influence with executives, peers, and cross-functional teams. This role has direct responsibility or supervision of staff and vendors.
HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:
- Lead internal and executive communications strategy, establishing a consistent and measurable approach to supporting major initiatives, company moments, and change initiatives. Ensure that Cohesity employees are engaged and aligned.
- Drive content excellence with high-impact deliverables across multiple platforms, from the intranet to videos to executive presentations and more. Ensure messages are clear, consistent, and aligned with our values. Experiment fearlessly with emerging media and AI.
- Establish and manage the executive communications function, starting with the CEO's platform, driving a regular cadence of varied content that resonates with key audiences and builds engagement. Partner with external communications leaders to ensure consistency across all platforms and stakeholders as appropriate.
- Work as a thought partner across the business, building a network of trust and influence with executives, peers, and functional teams.
- Leverage data to identify priority investments of people and program resources. Define KPIs and use insights to identify opportunities to innovate and improve results.
- Experience in leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision-making.

Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws - This position has a starting pay range as listed below. Actual salary depends upon many factors, including a candidate's skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations, and therefore a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants. Additionally, full-time employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits framework, including health and wellness benefits, vacation, paid holidays and refresh days, 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance coverages, and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.
Pay Range :
$232,800.00-$291,000.00
The compensation noted above is based on an annualized hourly rate assuming normal full-time employment.
