About the Role:

Join a dynamic team as a
Process Engineer
focused on the formulation and process development of orally inhaled pharmaceutical products. This role will be instrumental in setting up, operating, and troubleshooting formulation and manufacturing equipment while ensuring compliance with cGMP and EH&S standards. Ideal for an early-career professional with a background in pharmaceutics or chemical engineering who's eager to gain hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute formulation and manufacturing activities, including powder blending and blister filling.
  • Set up and operate testing instruments, formulation equipment, and packaging machinery.
  • Conduct troubleshooting on instruments and processes during development and manufacturing.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records in lab notebooks and batch records.
  • Analyze data, identify trends, and perform basic statistical analyses.
  • Draft protocols, methods, SOPs, and reports; contribute to regulatory documentation.
  • Design and conduct experimental studies with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to meet project goals and support timelines.
  • Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new technologies.
  • Ensure full compliance with SOPs, safety protocols, and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Education: BS in Pharmaceutics, Pharmacy, Chemical or Process Engineering
    , or related field.
  • Experience:
    0-2 years in product and process development in pharmaceutical or similar industries.
  • Technical Skills:
    Familiarity with dry powder inhaler formulation, USP methodologies, ICH guidelines, and cGMP practices.
  • Soft Skills:
    Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and manual handling of equipment and materials.
  • Work is primarily performed in a laboratory or manufacturing setting.
