Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sterile Processing Technician located in Rochester, NY. The Sterile Processing Technician will be responsible for decontaminating, sterilizing, and preparing medical instruments and equipment for use in the operating room and other medical settings. They will ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed and maintain accurate records of sterilization procedures. The technician will also assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment is properly handled and stored.

Qualifications

  • Skills in Decontamination, Sterilization, and Infection Control
  • Experience working in Operating Room environments
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent
