Summary of the Electrical Engineer Role:

The successful
Electrical Engineer
will own and take lead for the full design, development, system architecture definition and validation of Electronics Hardware Design, PCB Design & Embedded Systems Development for
Robotics & AI.

Electrical Engineer Key Skills:

  • Education – Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years industry professional experience
  • Electronics Circuit Design (analogue & digital)
  • PCB Design & Schematic Capture
  • ECAD Tools – Altium Designer, Cadence, OrCAD or similar
  • Embedded C, C++, Python
  • Experience of Microcontrollers – STM32, ARM Microcontrollers, PIC, Ardunio
  • Network communication protocols – SPI, I2C, USB3, UART, RS232/485, CAN, MIPI
  • Experience in ARM-based SoC development, such as Raspberry Pi, Nvidia Jetson, etc.
  • Experience with EMC/EMI, CE Marking, sensors, power management, and signal/power integrity
  • Practical skills - Prototype (circuit) design, debugging, soldering, fault finding
  • Experience with robotics software (e.g. ROS) – Bonus
  • Industry & Technology experience – Robotics, AI, Self-Driving Cars, Industrial Robotic Arms,, Medical Robots, Electric Vehicles, Drones, Smartphones
  • Strong teamwork & communication skills
  • Good problem solving skills, innovative and enthusiastic
