Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Worker/Deliver Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to handle heavy lifting, and experience with route driving. As a Warehouse Worker/Deliver Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks, to transport goods to designated locations.
  • Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling of all packages.
  • Follow assigned routes efficiently while adhering to traffic regulations and safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation for each route completed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
  • Ensure that all deliveries are completed in a timely manner while managing time effectively.

Required:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Must Be able to pass a drug screen.
  • Experience with assembling/disassembling furniture.

Preferred :

  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Worker/Delivery Assistant or in a similar role, preferably with courier or commercial driving experience.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the job.
  • Strong knowledge of local routes and navigation skills for efficient route driving.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor when interacting with clients.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience in warehouse operations is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
