Overview

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting multiple Physician Assistant's to support the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center located at 1 Freedom Way Augusta, GA This position is PRN and working on an as needed basis. Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians in providing emergency medical care.
  • Perform patient assessments and support treatment plans.
  • Work collaboratively with physicians and nurse practitioners.
  • Ensure compliance with managed healthcare protocols.

Qualifications

  • Must be a citizen of the United States.
  • Graduate of a training program which is accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education of PA (ARC-PA) or one of its predecessor organizations. Additionally, candidates must meet one of the following: (1) master's degree in any discipline; OR (2) bachelor's degree in any discipline with one year of experience as a PA.
  • Must have successfully passed the PA National Certifying Exam (PANCE).
  • Must possess an active, current, full, and unrestricted license to practice in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia. PAs must maintain current registration in the State of licensure if this is a requirement for continuing active and current licensure in that state.

All candidates must be able to:

  • Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
  • Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
  • Lift up to 20 lbs
  • Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
  • Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
