MBS Pro Staffing is seeking a
Mechanical Design Engineer
on behalf of our industry-leading client specializing in the design and integration of advanced
automated and manual Nondestructive Testing (NDT) systems
. Their technologies support mission-critical applications in aerospace, defense, energy, and beyond.

This role is ideal for a creative, solutions-driven engineer with a strong background in mechanical design and a desire to work on cutting-edge systems, including
multi-axis robotic ultrasonic (phased array & conventional) and eddy current inspection systems
.


What You'll Do:

  • Design, develop, and test mechanical hardware and components
  • Integrate sensors and motion systems for precision process control
  • Collaborate with U.S.-based engineering teams and suppliers
  • Support cross-functional departments including sales and service
  • Troubleshoot complex mechanical systems and provide technical solutions
  • Maintain detailed design documentation and user manuals


What You Bring:

  • Experience in
    mechanical hardware development
    using CAD tools
  • Knowledge of
    data acquisition
    ,
    motion control
    , and (ideally)
    ultrasonic NDT
  • Familiarity with
    vacuum or refrigeration systems
    is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and system integration skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • U.S. Citizenship required
    (due to ITAR compliance)
