- 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
- 3 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, Golang, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.
- 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products.
- 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
- 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Experience with developing and launching user-facing features from concept to completion.
- Ability to showcase product intuition and to translate business goals and user needs into technical solutions.
- Excellent cross-functional awareness, with a clear understanding of requirements and risks related to UX, privacy, legal, marketing, and safety.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will architect and build the next generation of AI-powered transactional omni-commerce experiences. You will work to enhance web performance, team efficiency, and the online and retail experience for users. You will also help drive the architecture across the serving layer.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $166,000-$244,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities:
- Architect a scalable, high-performance web platform using AI.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, helping with the technical direction across the front end.
- Act as a direct technical engineer who contributes to the codebase.
- Build a reusable framework to accelerate component/module development, with patterns supporting material design, and theming.
