Job Summary

The Sales Engineering Co-op will support the sales engineering team by assisting with customer interactions, technical evaluations, and proposal development.  This role offers exposure to the full sales cycle, from initial design review to final proposal delivery, while learning how technical solutions are tailored to meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze technical specifications and assist in preliminary equipment design
  • Help prepare commercial and technical proposals for customer review
  • Collaborate with manufacturing supervisors to estimate labor hours for proposals
  • Gather and evaluate component pricing from vendors
  • Work with the design team to develop proposal drawings
  • Participate in meetings and teleconferences with prospective clients
  • Support the engineering team in pricing change orders
  • Maintain and update project budget files, including change order tracking
  • Contribute to other engineering or sales-related projects as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Nuclear Engineering
  • Strong interest in HVAC systems and custom equipment design
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication abilities
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to collaborate across teams with external stakeholders
