Keyston Bros. started over 150 years ago and today and we are one of the leading wholesale distributors of automotive & upholstery fabrics and supplies for the Transportation, Furniture and Marine markets in the USA. We are looking for a Delivery Driver for our Raleigh, NC location. We believe in taking care of customer, going the extra mile and ensuring our customer a positive experience.

Job Brief: The delivery driver is responsible for verifying customer orders, carefully loading correct products into van before transporting/delivering goods from warehouse to customers safely and with a friendly and a positive attitude. Success in this role is demonstrated by transporting products on time and in great condition, providing outstanding customer service, and helping the company meet its delivery targets.

Delivery Driver Job Requirement:

  • Previous customer engagement; sales and/or delivery experience a plus
  • Valid driver's license and a CLEAN driving record
  • Physically fit and able to lift and carry packages of 75 pounds or more
  • Excellent driving skills, able to drive standard manual transmission, and comfortable driving a 16 foot box truck
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Delivery Driver Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Drives company vehicles safely and courteously
  • Maintains deep knowledge of delivery protocols and observes traffic rules
  • Confirms customer orders, collects payments, and provides receipts
  • Logs successful and unsuccessful deliveries
  • Refuels vehicles, performs periodic check-ups, and diagnoses potential vehicle problems

  • Monday – Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
  • Deliveries to North & South Carolina as well as Virginia
  • Overnight trips around 4-5 times per month
  • Company vehicle provided

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $16.50 per hour
