CB Senior Analyst - GCM - North America
The Corporate Banking Sr. Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for leading the planning of investment strategies and solutions for major market clients in coordination with the Institutional Banking team. The overall objective of this role is to drive revenue by cross selling the Citi platform while efficiently deploying the firm's capital and evaluating and managing risk. The role will support both the Capital Management team on core capital and balance sheet management initiatives and the North America Sponsor Portfolio Coverage Group in ongoing client management.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Senior Corporate Banking Officers to assist with client transactions
- Organize and analyze data in preparation of client proposals
- Contribute to strategic planning initiatives
- Prepare written recommendations and statistical exhibits
- Conduct economic/financial research and provide financial performance evaluations
- Participate in projects and assignments as necessary
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience
- Concentrated coursework in Finance, Economics and/or closely related areas
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of Corporate Banking Business
- Demonstrated planning and organizational skills
- SIE exam, series 79, series 63 required within first 90 days of starting.
