POSITION OVERVIEW
We are launching a canvassing division and seeking an experienced sales leader to recruit, train, and manage a team of residential appointment setters—while personally closing all roofing opportunities generated.
As part of a family that has installed roofs across Oklahoma for nearly 50 years, we are expanding into direct lead generation with passive solar overrides.
Your primary responsibility is straightforward: capture business and maintain the homeowner relationship.
Our internal team handles the rest.
This is a ground-floor opportunity for someone who knows how to build teams, close consistently, and scale production.
COMPENSATION
Roofing Commission — 8% of contract value
- Avg. project: ~$15,000 → ~$1,200 per deal
- Paid Friday following insurance check collection
- Typical timeline: 2–4 weeks from filed claim
You do not chase insurance, run claims, or collect checks, our back office handles it.
Solar Passive Override — $50 per installed kW
- Avg. system: ~8kW → ~$400 override
- You are not selling solar—this is passive income from installs on your roofing customers
- Paid the Friday following project completion
Recruiting Bonus — $500 per producing hire
- Paid after 90 days
- Setter must average ≥1 verified claim/mo
Expected Monthly Earnings
- Months 1–2: $8,000–$18,000
- Months 3–6: $20,000–$33,000
- Months 7–12: $35,000–$43,000
- Year 2+: $43,000–$58,000+ ($516,000–$696,000 annually)
These projections are based on attainable production targets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Team Development
- Recruit and train residential canvassers
- Build consistent appointment activity
- Scale to 12–15 setters within 12 months
Sales
- Run roofing appointments from your team
- Meet with homeowners; identify storm damage
- Guide homeowner through claim filing (when needed)
- Maintain strong customer relationship through project lifecycle
No paperwork, collections, or project management responsibilities.
Your role is to win the business.Operations
- Implement repeatable recruiting & training structure
- Develop top canvassers into future closers
- Work storm-affected markets across Oklahoma
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- 3–5+ years roofing, exterior, or storm restoration sales
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
- 1–2+ years managing or coaching sales reps
- Valid driver's license + reliable transportation
- Full-time availability
Preferred
- Storm restoration or insurance experience
- Existing network of canvass/door reps
- Prior 1099 / business ownership experience
- Solar familiarity (not required)

POSITION EXPECTATIONS
This is a 1099 leadership + production role, not a traditional salaried manager position.
- Entrepreneurial, self-directed

- Willing to work 50+ hrs/week during scale phase
- Financially stable during early ramp
Not ideal for those seeking guaranteed salary, traditional benefits, or a standard 9–5.
