Jessie Boutique is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Back of House Inventory Associate to manage the flow of merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. This position is ideal for someone who thrives behind the scenes and takes pride in keeping operations clean, structured, and efficient. While this role is primarily focused on inventory and stock management, occasional floor support may be needed during peak hours or special events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive and unpack new inventory shipments in a timely and accurate manner and sort for each location
  • Tag, steam, and prepare merchandise for floor placement
  • Maintain an organized and efficient stockroom, ensuring items are stored properly and easy to access
  • Track and communicate low stock, damages, or overstock situations
  • Support regular inventory counts and stock transfers between store locations
  • Assist with restocking floor merchandise as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness in the back-of-house areas including disposal of boxes and supplies
  • Occasionally assist with pull requests, styling requests, or customer support during busy periods

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in retail stockroom, inventory, or operations preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift boxes (up to 30 lbs), steam garments, and be on your feet during shifts
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
  • Basic comfort with digital inventory systems or POS platforms
  • Interest in fashion or boutique retail is a plus
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a bonus, but not required
