Financial Services Support Specialist
Job Summary
Your job, as a Financial Services Support Specialist, is to provide operational and administrative support to financial advisors and to enhance the client experience by servicing clients. You perform administrative duties that support financial advisors in their daily business practices (e.g., client meetings, security transactions, interim correspondence, note documentation coordination, follow up activities, etc.). You interface with clients and prospective clients and assist in anticipating their needs, resolving their problems, and following through to provide exceptional service. You also support and drive firm initiatives, and review and improve internal policies and procedures. You also have / obtain knowledge of brokerage firm policies, procedures, and technologies and maintain industry risk awareness and regulatory knowledge.
You have proven and experienced written / verbal communication skills, including note documentation. You have proficient computer / technology skills, you are numbers oriented, and you have organizational habits with attention to detail. You are a self-starter and resourceful in problem solving. Working in a small office means you must be a team player and able to multi-task and manage time efficiently. You have a positive attitude and maintain professionalism, integrity, and client-first service.
Key Tasks
The key tasks of your job as a Financial Services Support Specialist include the following:
- Financial Advisor support
- Client Review meeting coordination
- Brokerage firm system activities and communications
- Paperwork preparation and coordination
- Security trade transactions and follow up account review
- Incoming/outgoing phone communications
- Utilize and maintain CRM system for client touch points and updates
- Pre-meeting correspondence, document and report preparation
- Financial planning output and vendor software report review
- Post-meeting summary and note documentation
- Post-meeting follow-up and activity correspondence
- Internal and client task coordination with other associates
- Internal project assignments and communication with associates
- Practice Development including process management review and analysis
- Client interim correspondence and coordination
Basic Qualifications
The basic qualifications of your job as a Client Service Support Specialist include the following:
- College Degree preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid skills in Microsoft Office Suite and other computer proficiencies
- Service, detail, and numbers oriented, with an interest in finance
- Team player with cooperative and experienced interpersonal skills
- Note documentation and securities licensing / industry experience a plus
- The ability to build strong customer relationships
Salary/Key Benefits

The salary range and key benefits include the following:
- Pay range $60,000 - $80,000

· Physical Setting: Office (very limited work from home)
· Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8-5pm; Friday 8-4pm
