Residential Pest Control Technician

Ideal Partners, a growing company in southwest Fort Worth, is seeking a Residential Pest Control Technician to join our team and help create pest-free homes for our clients.

Residential Pest Control Tech requirements: Pest Control Apprenticeship or Tech License

Pest Control Tech Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of residential properties to identify pest infestations, entry points, and conditions that contribute to pest activity.
  • Develop customized pest management plans based on assessment findings and homeowner concerns.
  • Apply pest control treatments safely and effectively, including pesticide applications, trap setting, and exclusion techniques.
  • Educate homeowners on pest prevention methods, sanitation practices, and long-term solutions to maintain a pest-free environment.
  • Maintain accurate digital or paper-based records of inspections, treatments, and service recommendations.
  • Provide professional customer service by addressing client concerns, answering questions, and offering ongoing pest management solutions.
  • Stay up to date on industry regulations, best practices, and new treatment methods.
  • Follow all safety protocols while handling pest control chemicals and equipment.

Pest Control Tech Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education is a plus.
  • Previous experience in residential or commercial pest control or a related field preferred.
  • Required pest control licenses and certifications per state and federal regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Physical ability to work in different residential environments, including attics and crawl spaces.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass a drug test.
