FACILITY MAINTENANCE WORKER
Title: Facility Maintenance Staff
Division: Facility Maintenance
Reports to: Facility Manager
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ice Resurfacer Operator (Zamboni Driver). On site paid training will be provided if needed. Ice maintenance (operation if ice edger).
- Cleaning and maintenance of building as needed including: Cleaning and disinfecting of bathrooms, shower areas, and locker rooms. Sweeping and vacuuming of floors and use of floor scrubbing machine and/or mopping of floors. Pick up and removal of trash to dumpster area. Changing light bulbs, painting and/or other surface maintenance and preparations.
- Cleaning of windows; Restocking of soap, towels, and other necessary supplies to shower areas and bathrooms; Perform repair work on building and/or equipment or assist others in such repairs; Setting up, breaking down, and cleaning of party and ballet rooms; Shoveling of snow from sidewalk and fire exits during snow storms.
- Communication with Stamford Twin Rinks management and coworkers as required to facilitate smooth, safe, and coordinated operations at all times.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
This position requires working nights and weekend hours.
Perform other duties as required.
