Litigation CASE MANAGER who lives for complex, high-stakes cases
1 week ago
Our Mission
We fight for employees who have had traumatic and devastating workplace experiences involving sexual harassment, whistleblower retaliation and wrongful termination.
We take complex, high-stakes cases that other attorneys won't touch or can't handle. And we are often called on by other law firms to take their cases to trial when they can't get justice for their clients.
Our mission is simple: deliver exceptional results on impossible cases through relentless pursuit of doing what's right for our clients.
The Role
We're seeking an elite Case Manager who sees complexity as a personal challenge. You'll be the operational backbone of cases. This isn't about routine filing and scheduling – it's about maintaining the precision that makes legal victories possible, where getting the right information to the right place at the right time is just as crucial as crafting winning arguments and briefs.
Team Culture
We work together as one team, not as separate people trying to outdo each other.
Our Firm structure is built around the team. Period. Every case is won or lost based on how effectively our team works together, and every team member – from attorneys to assistants – has a clearly defined role that's essential to our collective success. We have zero tolerance for internal competition, turf wars, or the toxic office politics that plague other firms and make life at work miserable.
How We Work
- Defined Roles, Shared Success: Everyone knows their lane while understanding how their work connects to the bigger picture. Your success is our success – there are no individual heroes, only team victories.
- Collaboration Over Competition: We share resources, knowledge, and credit. If someone needs help, you help. If you need assistance, you ask. The only competition that matters is with yourself to become better at what you do.
- Accountability Without Drama: We hold each other to the highest standards, but we do it professionally and constructively. Tough conversations happen face-to-face, focused on solutions, not blame. Ego must be left at the door.
- Zero Tolerance for Toxicity: Gossip, backstabbing, and office politics aren't tolerated. They are corrosive to team cohesion. If you have an issue with a team member, you address it directly or bring it to leadership – but you don't poison the well with petty complaints or behind-the-back criticism. Every team member is expected to actively protect this culture by addressing toxic behavior when they see it and redirecting conversations that undermine team cohesion.
What You'll Do
- Tackle the Complex: Take ownership of cases with many moving parts, creating systematic and process-based workflows that keep litigation on track
- Deliver Solutions: Proactively identify potential scheduling conflicts, spot missing documents before they're needed, and flag procedural issues that could derail cases, always thinking several moves ahead
- Drive Results: Support litigation teams in high-pressure environments, coordinating witness schedules and preparation so critical information is always at their fingertips
- Own the Details: Track procedural requirements, anticipate filing deadlines before they become urgent, and organize case materials so nothing ever gets lost in the shuffle
Core Traits of our Team Members
- Exceptional Organization: Systems and process-thinking approach to managing volume and complexity
- Proactive Mindset: Ability to anticipate needs, identify issues, and solve problems before they arise
- Detail Mastery: Obsessive attention to detail in document management, deadline tracking, and case file maintenance
- Pressure Performance: Thrive in and seek out high-stakes, fast-paced environment where excellence is the standard
- Fail Fast, Learn Faster: We embrace mistake-making as an essential part of achieving excellence and professional growth. When you make a mistake – and you will – we focus on learning from it, fixing it, and ensuring it doesn't happen again. We don't shame people for errors; The only unacceptable mistake is the one you don't report or refuse to own.
Note: We value authenticity throughout our hiring process.
