We're Hiring a Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Are you a skilled heavy equipment mechanic looking to join a dynamic team in the construction industry? Oban Construction Inc. in South Sioux City, NE is seeking a passionate and experienced individual to fill our Heavy Equipment/Truck Mechanic position.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Performing routine maintenance on heavy construction equipment and trucks
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
  • Conducting thorough inspections of equipment to identify any potential problems
  • Keeping accurate records of repairs and maintenance schedules
  • Ensuring all work is performed safely and efficiently
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience as a heavy equipment or truck mechanic
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
