Adamas Building Services is looking for an exceptional customer service-oriented Maintenance Technician with experience working in luxury residential communities. Our company is a leading expert in the Residential Services market with properties throughout New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. We have openings at our Jersey City, NJ location.

Schedule: Monday-Friday (8am-4pm or 9am-5pm)

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

The ideal candidate would be responsible for:

  •  Performing routine and emergency repairs to equipment, machinery, plumbing, heating, and wiring.
  •  Conducting regular inspections of buildings to ensure safety standards are met.
  •  Performing general maintenance to keep products in working condition.
  •  Scheduling major repairs with building occupants.
  •  Addressing customer concerns and emotions in a timely and effective manner.
  •  Assist management with any request for residents in the building.
  •  Disassembling equipment to remove damaged components and reassembling it after repairs.

Requirements

Requirements:

  •  Diploma/GED required
  •  Must be professional, reliable, and have excellent customer service skills.
  •  Physically capable of lifting 23 kg unassisted
  •  Experienced in operating a variety of equipment, including snow blowers, lawn mowers and small hand tools.
  •  Able to work well with minimal supervision
  •  Ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures
  •  Must maintain professional appearance and comply with prescribed uniform policy.

Other Requirements

  •  MUST have reliable transportation.
  •  Ability to be at work on a regular and consistent basis; Overtime may be required for this position.
  •  Ability to work weekends and non-traditional holidays.
  •  Must be available to work on-call or when needed due to staffing shortages
  •  Must pass comprehensive background check.
