We are seeking a talented Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our Supervisor Team Advance your career and expand skills, work with a wide variety of patients. The ideal technician supervisor will have excellent leadership, training, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
Located in San Leandro, CA, VCA Bay Area Veterinary Specialist and Emergency Hospital is a 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital that has been caring for the pets of our community for over 25 years. Qualifications:
- 3 + year(s) as an RVT in a Specialty hospital
- Must have proven specialty/emergency RVT skills
- Seeking swing and night Supervisors with experience
Supervisory duties will include:
- Team training, development, and support
- Implementing department policies and procedure
- Scheduling staff and conducting team meetings
- Accurately handling and recording controlled drugs
- Record keeping
- Marketing
- Facility maintenance
- HR conversations
