Job Overview

I am seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Assistant. The candidate should have experience using legal software such as microsoft word. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and answer the phone. The hours are 9-2.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the filing of legal documents in litigation and organizing on the computer.
  • know how to scan and organize files
  • create pleading logs
  • use credit card machione
  • answer phones
  • may deliver to court house
  • keep track of supplies
  • Draft correspondence, memos, and other legal documents as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all client information and adhere to ethical standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an office assistant
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write clearly and concisely.
  • Strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively while meeting deadlines.
  • A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving abilities.
