 is seeking qualified 
Electrical Inspectors
 to support the inspection and oversight of construction projects across public-sector, infrastructure, and institutional facilities. This position plays a critical role in ensuring electrical systems are installed safely, correctly, and in full compliance with project plans, specifications, and applicable codes.

The Electrical Inspector will work closely with project teams, contractors, and other inspection disciplines to maintain quality, safety, and compliance throughout construction.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Inspect the installation of electrical systems including wiring, conduits, panels, lighting, grounding, and power distribution systems
  • Monitor testing, commissioning, and energization of electrical systems
  • Verify compliance with approved plans, specifications, contract requirements, and applicable codes and standards
  • Conduct detailed field inspections of materials, equipment, and workmanship
  • Coordinate with other inspectors, engineers, and project staff to resolve system integration issues
  • Review contractor submittals and shop drawings related to electrical work
  • Identify, document, and report nonconforming work; coordinate corrective actions with contractors and engineers
  • Perform labor interviews to verify proper worker classification and wage compliance, as required
  • Immediately report unsafe or potentially life-threatening conditions to appropriate personnel
  • Maintain accurate inspection reports, daily logs, and documentation
  • Support final inspections, punch lists, and project closeout activities
  • Witness and document required tests and system start-ups

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent 
    plus a minimum of eight (8) years
     of relevant electrical inspection or construction experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Working knowledge of electrical construction methods, materials, and installation techniques
  • Familiarity with applicable local, state, and federal electrical codes and safety regulations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • OSHA 10-hour or OSHA 30-hour
     safety certification
  • Certified Construction Quality Manager for Contractors (CQM-C)
  • Experience working on public-sector, infrastructure, or government-funded projects
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience using project management or inspection reporting systems

  • This position may require travel to project sites
