Junior Data Scientist – Upen Group (DFW Local Only)

Upen Group is hiring a Junior Data Scientist to support analytics, modeling, and insights across our vendor–client data environment. This role is perfect for early-career candidates growing into applied data science.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze datasets using SQL, Excel, and Python

  • Assist with building basic predictive models and trend analyses

  • Create dashboards in Power BI or Tableau to visualize results

  • Support data quality checks and ETL validation

  • Present insights clearly to internal teams, vendors, and clients

Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years in data science, analytics, or statistical roles

  • Strong SQL and Excel; Python preferred

  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau

  • Understanding of basic ML and modeling concepts

Eligibility:

  • DFW-area only

  • U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders only

  • No sponsorship

Pay: $40, $60,000.00 per year
