We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at a pet food manufacturing plant. This role is essential in ensuring that the facility and its equipment remain operational at all times. You will provide technical expertise, perform repairs, and maintain process equipment and controls. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, your primary goal will be to keep the production process running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Perform corrective and preventative maintenance on all facility systems and equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Execute equipment repairs and part replacements.
  • Identify parts, part numbers, and descriptions for accurate repairs.
  • Support the production process as needed.
  • Complete tasks with limited oversight, either independently or as part of a team.
  • Adhere to safety standards and best practices throughout all tasks.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to read and write in English.
  • Industrial maintenance experience preferred.
  • Proficient with common hand tools and tools specific to an industrial production setting.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office software.
  • Familiar with industrial electrical systems, instrumentation, and process controls (e.g., starters, VFDs, 3-phase power).
  • Experience working with manufacturing equipment such as driers, fluid pumps, conveyors, motors, and more.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience in food or beverage manufacturing preferred.
