Role Overview

The Manager, Learning Design & Experience, is a key leader responsible for shaping how we design, deliver, and scale learning for both our internal sales teams and our external customers. This role blends strategic vision with hands-on design excellence—building the frameworks, tools, and content that enable performance, accelerate onboarding, and drive customer adoption.

The role will lead a team of instructional designers, oversee the LMS implementation, and establish unified standards for eLearning design, communication, and reinforcement. This role will collaborate across Sales Enablement, Customer Training, Marketing, and Product teams to deliver high-quality learning experiences that build capability, confidence, and connection.

Key Responsibilities:

Learning Design & Framework

  • Build and implement a unified learning design framework that supports both internal enablement and customer education.
  • Establish standards, templates, and toolkits for eLearning, microlearning, and instructor-led programs.
  • Ensure content is engaging, scalable, and rooted in adult learning and performance-based design principles.

Sales Enablement & Internal Learning

  • Partner with Sales Enablement to design training programs that drive seller performance—including value selling, discovery, negotiation, and coaching skills.
  • Lead the design and delivery of onboarding for new sales hires, including learning paths, certification, and manager reinforcement.
  • Create microlearning, reinforcement, and communication strategies to sustain skill adoption.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Leadership to align learning with performance goals and metrics.

Customer Training & Experience

  • Partner with Customer Success, Product, and Marketing to transform customer training from live delivery to scalable digital learning.
  • Lead the design of customer eLearning modules, onboarding journeys, and product education assets.
  • Ensure all customer-facing learning reflects brand standards and provides measurable impact (usage, adoption, satisfaction).
  • Develop feedback loops to continuously improve customer education content based on learner insights.

LMS, Technology & Systems

  • · Lead the implementation, governance, and optimization of the new LMS for both internal and external audiences.
  • · Manage course structure, reporting, and learning analytics to evaluate impact and engagement.
  • · Create processes for version control, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
  • · Partner with IT and HR to ensure data accuracy and system integration.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • · Lead and develop a small team of instructional designers—acting as a player-coach.
  • · Partner cross-functionally with Enablement, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams.
  • · Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities across audiences.
  • · Act as a trusted advisor on learning experience design across the organization.

What You'll Bring

  • 7+ years of experience in instructional design, learning & development, or enablement, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success designing and delivering blended learning (eLearning, ILT, VILT, microlearning).
  • Experience building or leading customer education or enablement programs.
  • Proven ability to develop communication strategies and reinforcement plans that drive engagement.
  • Strong project management skills; able to manage multiple complex initiatives.
  • Proficiency with LMS platforms and authoring tools (Articulate 360, Rise, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Excellent writing, storytelling, and visual design skills.
  • Collaborative, strategic thinker who can thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
