Job Description
Inova Mount Vernon Hospital Lorton Healthplex is looking for a dedicated Clinical Technician 2 to join the team in the Emergency Department. This role will be full time shifts
7am-7pm and 10am-10pm.
Days vary, rotating weekends, Candidate must be able to attend a paid 6 week training period.

Clinical Technician 2 Job Responsibilities
Provides direct care to patients whose care requirements are routine and standardized, with predictable outcomes, under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse
Effectively communicates with health team members, patients and families; Communicates effectively and works cooperatively with others.
Assists unit leadership with overseeing other unit Clinical Technician education records.
Has respect for and an understanding of other clinical disciplines.
Maintains competencies and seeks opportunities to develop professionally.
Identifies own learning needs based on self-evaluation and the progress made from the previous year's goals.
Assumes responsibility for self-development in life long learning and seeks opportunities to further increase practice knowledge.
May perform additional duties as assigned.
Shift: 7am-7pm and 10am-10pm
Schedule: Two 12 hour shifts per week (with weekend rotation)
Training: Candidate must be able to attend a 6 week training course

Minimum Qualifications
Experience: 1-year acute care experience as a Clinical Tech or clinical rotation with an accredited nursing program and/or 2 years of nursing school
Education: High School graduate or equivalent.
Certification: BLS within 90 days of hire.
Special Skills: Proficient in English. Verbal and written communication skills required.
