While we support aviation, prior aviation experience is not required—we're looking for a detail-oriented professional with strong CAD and drafting skills who can support our engineering team.

Position Summary

We are seeking an Engineering Technician – CAD & Drafting to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for retrieving parts from our stockroom, performing precise measurements, and creating accurate CAD models and technical drawings. You will also use reverse engineering techniques to support product development and quality initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

· Retrieve and handle parts from the stockroom for analysis and documentation.

· Perform accurate measurements and dimensional analysis of mechanical components.

· Develop and update CAD models and technical drawings using drafting standards.

· Apply reverse engineering methods to recreate parts and assemblies.

· Develop internal procedures and documentation to support the fabrication of parts and assemblies.

· Ensure drawings meet company and industry standards.

· Collaborate with engineers, quality, and production teams.

· Maintain organized records of drawings, models, and revisions.

Qualifications

· Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent).

· Strong knowledge of drafting, dimensioning, reverse engineering, and RDT practices.

· Experience with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).

· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Technical degree in Engineering, Drafting/Design, or related field preferred, but equivalent experience considered.

· Aviation or aerospace experience is a plus, but not required.
