Job Summary

VIP Systems is seeking a driven and knowledgeable Sales Representative to support business development for low-voltage integration solutions in high-rise and large-scale new construction projects. This role focuses on selling integrated systems—including access control, smart locks, CCTV, structured cabling, networking, Wi-Fi, and related technologies—while managing client relationships, coordinating project requirements, and supporting pre-construction efforts.

The ideal candidate has experience selling or working with low-voltage systems, understands construction workflows, and can confidently communicate technical solutions to developers, general contractors, and property operators.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Client Development

  • Identify and pursue opportunities with developers, general contractors, and project owners in the South Florida market.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and site visits to understand project needs and propose tailored low-voltage solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with construction teams, project managers, and procurement departments.
  • Prepare proposals, budgets, estimates, and system recommendations based on project plans and specifications.
  • Represent VIP Systems' full product and service portfolio, including access control, smart locks, CCTV, network infrastructure, internet/Wi-Fi systems, intercom, and related integrated technologies.

Project & Technical Coordination

  • Review architectural drawings, risers, and low-voltage plans to identify scope, materials, and integration requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and operations teams to ensure proposals are accurate and feasible.
  • Assist in handoffs from sales to operations to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Track bid timelines, follow up on proposals, and support the contracting process.

Market & Product Expertise

  • Stay current with low-voltage products, smart-building technologies, and integration trends.
  • Be able to explain the benefits and functions of system components such as:
  • Access control platforms
  • Smart lock ecosystems
  • CCTV and recording solutions
  • Network switches, structured cabling, and Wi-Fi systems
  • Building automation integrations
  • Maintain an understanding of competitive landscape and market pricing.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience in low-voltage integration, access control, smart locks, CCTV, networking, security systems, or related technologies.
  • Familiarity with high-rise or multifamily construction processes (pre-construction, submittals, RFPs, bidding).
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and low-voltage plans.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable managing multiple bids and client accounts at once.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM tools is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites in South Florida.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing relationships with GCs or developers in the South Florida market.
  • Prior experience selling integration solutions into high-rise or multifamily new construction.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
