Summary
Salary Range: $24.00 /Hr. to $32.00 /Hr.
The Videographer/Editor is responsible for all aspects of production and post-production of video projects for Haas Automation. The Videographer/Editor is responsible for capturing detailed, vivid, high definition video that is properly lit and composed. The post production responsibilities for this position include; proficiency with video editing systems (Premiere) and compositing software (After effects, and Photoshop).

Working closely with the Video Multimedia Supervisor, the Videographer/Editor will capture high-quality video at the Haas studio and at off-site locations. This includes camera operation, lighting, and script supervision.
- Produce a polished video project from the editing phase through publication via website, or digital media distribution.
Translate and subtitle video projects once they are approved. Video projects must be accurate and easy to understand for international audiences including Haas customers and service personnel.
Compose shot lists and storyboards to visualize and organize the extensive video that must be captured for Haas video projects.
Research and keep up-to-date with evolving cinematography and software techniques in the video production industry.
Arrange and coordinate details on studio shoot days. This includes working closely with the screenwriter and other Haas associates.
Develop complete understanding of the machine tool industry, and the Haas customer. This individual may travel to a customer's shop or similar location to produce a customer documentary. This includes developing a compelling narrative, and managing all of the aspect of successful shoot in the field.

Associate's degree AA/AS/AAS from a two-year college or technical school is required, plus additional related experience, training and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and/or governmental regulations in English. Must be able to write analytical and/or technical reports, business correspondence, procedure manuals, and create instructional reference material. Able to speak effectively before groups, customers, employees of the organization and/or the general public.
Mathematical Skills
Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Must have the ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. May need to draw and interpret graphs.

Must have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Must be able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions such as mathematical and/or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
