Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Wear proper safety equipment, PPE and operating equipment in a safe and proper manner.
  • Maintain positive attitude towards work and fellow employees.
  • Detailed standard work documents with schedule of all required tasks and when to complete them will be reviewed with employees when job is awarded.
  • May be required to work or assist in other areas throughout the facility, any additional work as directed by supervisor or lead.
  • Operates forklift in a manner to transport material for production needs in a safe manner without damaging product. 
  • Ensures material is being rotated on a "first-in-first out" basis
  • Keep warehouse aisles clean so material can be transported in an efficient and productive manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
  • Utilize production, shipping, receiving paperwork and compare quantity/quality of material needed  
  • Maintain positive work ethic, attitude and outlook towards fellow employees and supervisor 
  • Report any discrepancies of product to Group Manager or Lead
  • Performs all duties assigned by supervisor in an efficient and effective manner
  • Has working knowledge of product specifications and inspects products to ensure material is following product quality standards
  • Provides all necessary paperwork for receiving, shipping, etc.
  • Helps in other areas as needed when necessary
  • Dispose of cardboard, pallets and garbage from facility in a timely and controlled manner

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Must be able to safely lift to 50 lbs and use team lift when needed 
  • Must be able to wear required Personal Protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to operate forklift safely
  • Must show proficiency in the operation of all necessary equipment.
