We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to the kitchen manager.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, fryers, and knives.
  • Participate in catering events as needed, contributing to menu planning and execution.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining setting is preferred but not required; we are willing to train enthusiastic candidates.
  • Familiarity with various cooking techniques and food preparation methods is beneficial.
  • Strong knife skills and knowledge of culinary terminology are advantageous.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
