Data ArchitectThe Data Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise data architecture that supports advanced analytics, operational efficiency, and secure information flow. Bridging business needs with technical execution by ensuring data is accurate, accessible, and actionable.Key ResponsibilitiesETL Development & Management: Design, build, and maintain scalable Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) pipelines to integrate diverse data sources into a centralized lakehouse environment.Data Lakehouse Architecture: Establish and optimize a secure, well-documented data lakehouse that is internally accessible, logically organized, and easy to traverse for analysts and business users.Data Modeling: Create, refine, and maintain data models that improve query performance, enforce data governance, and ensure data security.Data Quality & Performance: Monitor, validate, and optimize data quality and system performance to ensure reliability and consistency across reporting and analytics.Documentation & Standards: Define and maintain clear documentation of data sources, object relationships, and architecture standards to support long-term scalability and transparency.Business Intelligence Enablement: Deliver intuitive, impactful data visualizations and reporting solutions that guide decision-making and support the creation of company-wide standards of practice.Collaboration: Partner with IT, analytics, and business stakeholders to align data strategy with organizational goals and continuously evolve architecture to meet emerging needs.Required Skills, Education and ExperienceProven ability to assemble and transform large amounts of data from various sources and inconsistent formats.Knowledge of data transformation tools and best-practices is a requirement.Knowledge of M, R or Python programming languages, preferably PythonSuccessful history of creating and managing data models and visualizations using MS Power BI. Examples required.Experience with enterprise ERP systems, ideally Dynamics 365 F&O and CE, strongly desired.Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate within cross-functional team as well as independent work.Ability to communicate and work across all levels of the organization and with users possessing varying degrees of technical proficiency.Strong analytical thinker, organized, accurate and demonstrated ability to identify trends in large data operations; knowledge of B2B and chemical material markets a plus.General business acumen and excellent communication skills.Business or financial training a plus.Ability to work independently to manage multiple projects and initiatives to meet desired deadlines.Education: Bachelor's Degree (S.T.E.M.) or Data Science with a minimum (3) years of relevant work experience required. Proficiency in Power BI (DAX Queries, Data Visualization, Gateways, Content, Packs, Connectors)Must have experience in MS Fabric, SQL server, Performance Tuning, Visual Studio, SSIS, Stored Procedures etc.Position Based in Woodcliff Lake, NJMinimal domestic travel required (
