A scraper operator's job involves operating heavy equipment to move, spread, and grade earth and other materials at construction sites and mining operations. Key duties include performing pre-shift inspections and routine maintenance on the scraper, adjusting blade settings for precise grading, and coordinating with other crew members for safety and efficiency. Operators must also adhere to safety regulations, company policies, and project specifications.
- Performance of routine inspections and completion of daily equipment status reports for assigned equipment and referral of any detected defects or repairs to supervision is required daily. This is a safety sensitive position. Travel may be required.
