Position Summary:

Supports hospital information system server environment

  • Responsible for Support Center request from users.
  • Install, upgrade and troubleshoot all information services hardware and telecommunications systems.
  • Monitors information systems and addresses concerns as necessary.
  • Assists with daily backup tasks.
  • Assists Server Analysts as needed.
  • Rotating call schedule for off-hours support.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education

  • Two years of college required

SKILLS

  • Knowledge of Microsoft and Linux/Unix operating systems.
  • Knowledge of VMWare and other virtual desktop environments.
  • Experience with backup technologies.
  • Knowledge of Cisco environments.
  • Knowledge of network concepts.
  • Knowledge of server and computer hardware concepts.
