Overview

We are seeking a hard-working and detail-oriented Parts Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting retail customers and ensuring that all parts and components are readily available. This position requires a strong understanding of inventory management, an attentiveness to organization, and excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the procurement and sourcing of irrigation parts and supplies to meet operational needs.
  • Oversee inventory control processes, ensuring accurate stock levels through effective data entry and inventory management.
  • Communicate with suppliers to track shipments and notify customers of expected outcomes.
  • Manage warehouse activities including shipping & receiving, ensuring proper handling of parts.
  • Listen, understand, and communicate effectively with customers to handle challenges and find solutions efficiently.
  • Support service technicians by providing necessary parts for repairs and maintenance.
  • Take responsibility for cleanliness and organization of warehouse and yard.
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards while operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment.

Requirements

  • Great interpersonal communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for effective order management.
  • Proficiency in data entry with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and telehandlers safely within a warehouse setting is a huge benefit, but not required.
