Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Outpatient Mental Health Therapist based in Birmingham, AL. Responsibilities include conducting therapy sessions with individuals, families, or groups, creating effective treatment plans, providing case management services, and offering support with mental health challenges. Some remote work is acceptable as part of this role, though on-site presence at our Birmingham location is also required.

Qualifications

  • Skills in Treatment Planning and formulating goal-oriented approaches to meet client needs
  • Background in Social Work and Case Management, with strong organizational and documentation abilities
  • Experience in Mental Health services and providing support for a variety of psychological challenges
  • Specialized knowledge or certification in Family Therapy
  • Licensing or eligibility for licensure as a mental health professional in the state of Alabama
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build therapeutic relationships
  • Empathy, cultural competence, and commitment to continuous professional development
  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
