Description

The Assistant Project Manager - K-12 - DC Metro will:

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a key role in supporting project execution from start to finish, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. You'll collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to deliver exceptional results.

  • Assist in managing all phases of construction projects, from planning to closeout
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project alignment
  • Monitor project schedules and budgets, reporting progress to senior management
  • Review and process RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
  • Support procurement of materials and subcontractor agreements
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reports
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders

Profile

The Assistant Project Manager - K-12 - DC Metro will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in construction, design, architecture, or engineering
  • Proven experience overseeing at least one ground-up build
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite
