Job Responsibilities:

  • Makes local deliveries operating a 26' straight truck.
  • Performs various extensive shipping and receiving duties in our warehouse.
  • Maintains accurate inventory and conducts inventory actions.
  • Operates a forklift.
  • Utilizes positive communication skills.
  • Provides superior customer service to our customers.
  • Fosters a productive work relationship with parts branch manager and counter sales associates.
  • Adheres to appropriate safety standards and collecting necessary data to comply with DOT regulations.

Requirements:

  • Good driving record
  • Chauffeur driver's license
  • DOT medical certification
  • Forklift certification
  • Able to lift 70 pounds
  • Able to climb ladders and work on your feet all day
  • 2-3 years of warehouse operational experience

Preferred Skills:

  • PC skills
  • Inventory and shipping/receiving experience

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 2-3 years experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting and Standing: Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods throughout the workday, depending on task requirements. Frequent movement between workstations, parts counters, and storage areas is required.
  • Walking: Must be able to walk short to moderate distances within the facility and occasionally across the premises or to customer vehicles.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull parts and equipment weighing up to 70 pounds on a regular basis. Assistance or mechanical aids should be used for heavier items.
  • Manual Dexterity: Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle, grasp, and operate tools, phones, computers, and parts inventory systems.
  • Reaching and Bending: Regular reaching overhead and bending, kneeling, or crouching to access inventory stored at various heights and locations.
  • Driving: Occasional driving may be required to deliver parts, visit vendors, or support mobile sales. A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.
  • Visual and Auditory Requirements: Must have adequate vision (with or without corrective lenses) to read part numbers, invoices, and screen displays. Must be able to hear and communicate clearly in a noisy environment.
  • Environmental Conditions: Work may be performed in office and/or warehouse settings.
