Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Front of House Staff to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food service environments such as fine dining, banquets, or catering. This role involves welcoming guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a memorable visit for all patrons. Previous experience in the food industry and knowledge of food safety standards are highly valued. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and a friendly demeanor are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
  • Serve meals, drinks, and desserts in accordance with restaurant standards
  • Assist with food preparation when necessary, including setting up stations or plating dishes
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the front of house area, including tables and service stations
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels
  • Follow all food safety protocols and proper handling procedures to ensure guest safety
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements as needed for optimal flow of service

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in food service, including fine dining, banquet, catering, or hospitality roles is preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
  • Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well under pressure
  • Experience with serving, food preparation, or barista duties is a plus
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed
  • Previous restaurant experience or dietary aide experience is advantageous but not required
  • A positive team-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $11.75 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
